Award Winning Caterpillar House in the Santa Lucia Preserve

This Santa Lucia Preserve multiple award-winning home takes its name from its articulating footprint that follows the ridge line of the site. The simplicity of this home’s appearance belies the complexity of its construction, made possible by the use of steel beams that follow the footprint, and allows for generous use of glass and rammed earth walls made from site soils.
